Daniel C. Nowell is managing partner of
the firm. He represents self-insured and insured corporations and
entities in negligence, products liability and environmental
litigation.
Mr. Nowell has successfully represented clients in a wide range of
personal injury and property damage litigation. In the case of
American Home Assurance Company, Inc. v. Hermann’s Warehouse
Corporation, Mr. Nowell prevailed before the New Jersey State
Supreme Court in a case which defines the insureds’ rights under
policies of insurance containing deductibles. Mr. Nowell has
lectured widely on various topics including utilization of experts
and toxic tort litigation. Mr. Nowell is admitted to practice before
the Courts of New Jersey and Pennsylvania and the U.S. District
Court of New Jersey, the U. S. Court of Appeals, Third Circuit and
the U.S. Supreme Court.
Mr. Nowell previously served as a law clerk to the Honorable Frances
M. Cocchia, Superior Court of New Jersey and as an Assistant Essex
County Prosecutor. Mr. Nowell is a member of the New Jersey State
Product Liability and Toxic Tort Committee, the Environmental Law
Section, the American Bar Association Sections on Tort and Insurance
Practice and Natural Resources, Energy and Environmental Law.
